• Royal is a 1st cousin of Robert Kool Bell & Ronald Khalis Bell of “Kool & the Gang”. He was added as a 2nd guitarist in 1979.  Royal stayed with the band until the band’s new manager – Astor Val Hackett – introduced • James “JT” Taylor • to the group.  Traveling on the road with 13 members on stage was not economically beneficial to all.  So, Royal haply left KATG in 1981 and formed Bayyan International’ Productions with brothers and production partner’s Adil & Amir Bayyan – Bayyan Internationale’ became a HOT production company throughout the 80’s, and proved to be profitable and smart…
